If your vehicle needs to be scrapped you are required to take it to an Authorised Treatment Facility (ATF).
Car and Metal Recyclers is an ATF.
We can collect your scrap car and you can be assured it is being correctly disposed of in line with current regulations.
Car and Metal Recyclers will give you a Certificate of Destruction and inform the DVLA that you are no longer responsible for the vehicle.
Being an ATF means that we comply with all current legislation including the End Of Life Vehicle Directive and Environmental Permitting regulations.
The End of Life Vehicles (ELV) Directive aims to reduce the amount of waste produced from vehicles when they are scrapped. This means that your vehicle will be disposed of will the minimum impact on the environment.
